CW: Sexual Assault

Edit 7/31: One of the actors in
Eat Rich, Bea Cordelia, sexually assaulted Sol Cabrini in 2017. I’m adding Sol’s account of the assault as the second image on this post. I’m leaving the original post up for accountability, but Eat Rich is being taken down and I will be removing it from my reel. I worked with Bea multiple times between 2012-2018, and I’m sad, angry, and disappointed to know that she would use her position and her voice to take power over others and harm them. I have no plans to work with her again in the future. You can donate to Sol’s transition fund here and check out the work she does with her partner Chaski here. Original post below:

Eat Rich tells the story of Rose, a trans latinx zombie disrupting a cis straight couple's quiet night at home in order to find her first human meal. After screening at festivals in Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Atlanta, Chicago, Oregon, and even Australia, being shown at multiple universities as part of both pride group events and classes on queer cinema, and winning the DMOFF “Best LGBT Film of the Month” Award, Eat Rich is finally free to stream on OTV! You can watch the trailer and the full film here.

HARK! A Virtual Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Play at 7:30PM CDT on 5/28

I’m excited to be working again with Avalanche Theatre Company to present the first episode of Hark! A Virtual Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Play at 7:30PM CDT on Thursday 5/28! This virtual staged reading will be less than an hour long, and admission is free, but audience members who donate $1 or more get to influence how this installment ends and leads into the next one. There may even be more fun ways to be part of the drama - tune in on 5/28 to find out! Check out the facebook event here, where the Zoom link will be posted on the day of the performance. I’m as excited to see what happens as you are!

Watch a live reading of "The World's Ending and Maybe That's Kinda Hot" Monday 5/18 at 7PM CDT!

I’m so excited to be joining the folks at Homesick Play Project for their live virtual reading of “The World’s Ending and Maybe That’s Kinda Hot” by Catherine Weingarten. It’s an incredibly fun, weird, and existentially bizarre adaptation of The Decameron by Boccaccio, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. I’ll be playing Dioneo, who is described in the script as “supa lusty, likes bird watching, doesn’t give an F.” Sound like a good time? Check it out live on Monday 5/18 at 7PM CDT HERE!

Wow, what a year 2020 has been already! The first two months were a whirlwind of activity for me - we closed out the phenomenal six-month run of Snow White with Chicago Kids Company, I had the honor and the joy of going on as Dull Gret in Remy Bumppo’s Top Girls, and I got my EMC card! I had my next project all lined up and was excited to join the cast of Take Me To Church - A Sister Act Parody Musical at Second City, but like every other public performance or event, that show has been indefinitely postponed as we all shelter in place and attempt to flatten the curve of COVID-19 as much as possible. In addition to trying wacky at-home workouts and giving myself a quarantine haircut, I’m taking this time to work on the aspects of my craft that I can in isolation, like finally finishing this website, self-taping auditions, and reading plays. So, the next project you’ll be able to see me in will be virtual - I’ll be reading for Dioneo in a public reading of The World’s Ending and Maybe That’s Kinda Hot by Catherine Weingarten! Time and date TBA, and I’ll post a link here when we have more specifics. See you on the internet!
